Jeffersontown and the Fern Creek/Highview area sit a bit further down the route but are still a routine part of our weekly schedule. Shively, Okolona, and Pleasure Ridge Park are on the opposite side of Jefferson County, so those deliveries usually plan on a next-day window rather than same-day.

Placement on a public street or sidewalk is different — that can require a temporary permit through Louisville Metro Public Works' Right of Way Permits and Licenses office, and we're glad to walk through whether your specific spot needs one before delivery day.

How long can I keep a residential dumpster on my property?

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?
We place containers using boards or plywood under the rollers where needed, and we talk through the best spot on your property before the truck arrives to keep the risk low.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
Not necessarily, as long as we've agreed on a placement spot in advance and there's clear access to it. Many residential customers coordinate a drop-off location and aren't present for either the delivery or the pickup.
Can I put a dumpster on the street in front of my house?
In most Jefferson County towns, a driveway or private-property placement needs no permit, but a public street or sidewalk placement typically requires a temporary permit through Louisville Metro Public Works. We can help you figure out which applies to your address.
